Here, there and Everywhere, from Beatles!

Simple lyrics and absolutely beautiful. Perfect!

Here, There and Everywhere is a song written primarily by Paul McCartney, recorded for the Beatles 1966 album Revolver. In his biography Many Years From Now, McCartney said the song is one of his favourites!!! John Lennon reportedly told McCartney it was "The best tune on the album" and said in his 1980 Playboy interview it was "one of my favourite songs of the Beatles." It was ranked the 4th greatest song of all time by Mojo in 2000.*

And you, guys, dpn't U all  L O V E  this song?

Kisses & hugs!

Fred Astaire - Puttin' On the Ritz (DVD Quality)

I cannot think of anybody I know that didn't think (once in their lifetime) of being like Fred Astaire or becoming a professional dancer, when watching any of his performances in his nice, lovely movies.

I remember being a kid and watching those movies and I dreamt that I was Ginger while dancing in my living room. I swear that I was sure that I was as good as them dancing around the sofa...

Good times. In my opinion, he is still one of the best dancers and performatic man in Show Business. "The" Showman.

joe cocker - you can leave your hat on -91/2 weeks- So, help me, lord...

I have to gratefully thank Thaty Brooks for being such a supporter for this blog with her nice and inspiring posts. I know how busy she is and nevertheless she still doesn't forget to bring us her joy. Thank you so much, Thaty. Your presence is more than necessary. It's light itself.

I have an apology to make to all this blog readers for being so absent of it.
But hey, nobody's perfect, right?
So, just to say hello (once again), I want to share with you one of the things that makes me remember The USA in its cultural vein: the music.

Of course it's very personal, 'cause I'm relating the songs and singers with memories I have from the days I've lived there.

Every time I hear some bands and some songs I got to connect them with the America' soul.
By the time I was in my 3rd or 4th year, I felt somehow like I was American myself. The blue pubs, the rock'n roll bars, the jazzy night clubs...and I was so much in love for a kind of "familia" guy that I couldn't help my hot blood to feel the music like part of my body and soul...so...Aerosmith, Joe Cocker, Bruce Springsteen, Heart and many others were part of my soundtrack.

Anyway, I just want to reveal that this song is so Godamm sexy! Perfect choice for this movie scene. Perfect for a honeymoon, perfect for having pleasure.

And by the way, what was that movie/ What about Mickey Rourke? Owo!

THE CAT AND THE MOON - Yeats (I L O V E cats, love Yeats, love poetry...)

THE CAT AND THE MOON
by: W. B. Yeats (1865-1939)

THE cat went here and there
And the moon spun round like a top,
And the nearest kin of the moon,
The creeping cat, looked up.
Black Minnaloushe stared at the moon,
For, wander and wail as he would,
The pure cold light in the sky
Troubled his animal blood.
Minnaloushe runs in the grass
Lifting his delicate feet.
Do you dance, Minnaloushe, do you dance?
When two close kindred meet,
What better than call a dance?
Maybe the moon may learn,
Tired of that courtly fashion,
A new dance turn.
Minnaloushe creeps through the grass
From moonlit place to place,
The sacred moon overhead
Has taken a new phase.
Does Minnaloushe know that his pupils
Will pass from change to change,
And that from round to crescent,
From crescent to round they range?
Minnaloushe creeps through the grass
Alone, important and wise,
And lifts to the changing moon
His changing eyes.

My sweet Lord, from George Harrison!!! Love this song!

George Harrison, my favorite beatle!

George and Patti!!! Sweet couple!

Today heard a song that reminds me of my childhood: My sweet Lord, from George Harrison!

It's incredible how songs can take you away and this one is so positive, so bright, up, even though it’s not effusive.
Well, and there is the fact that I'm totally crushed by the 70's music, fashion etc!

Flowers & love, all that Love needs!

My sweet Lord is perfect, isn't it?
A great spring day to’yall, my dears!

Kisses & hugs!

Pink days with lasers!!!!

Today I don't wanna cry.
I just want to feel a sligtly
silly
innocent
summer breeze on my face
and drink milkshake with no regrets.
I want the right o feel ridiculous.
Let me be myself for once
'cause it's like the song says
"Because you have to make this
life
liveable".
